The decorations are easy to follow and extremely easy to make. There are several steps involved and thus it can be time consuming and tedious. This product includes eight pom poms in two different colors, a medium pink and a light pink. The medium pink almost looks red in certain lighting, but is certainly sufficient as pink for a pink theme. The pom poms also com in two different sizes, a small size and a medium size. I didn't see this in the product description, so it is worth mentioning.The creation of tissue pom poms can be done without this Martha Stewart Pom Pom set. You just need some tissue paper and 25 gauge steel wire. I actually made some bigger white tissue pom poms to complement these pink ones and it was just as easy if not easier to create. I purchased some larger white ones from a local craft store but wanted some pink ones to mix in. I hung a cluster of them from the ceiling in my daughters' rooms. They look really nice. Just note that these are not the larger sized ones. These are more of a small/medium range.
