This sample kit is just the thing if you are just beginning, or wanting to try your hand at using polymer clay before investing in larger, more expensive sizes of clay. It is easy to work with, and perfect if you only need a "little" bit of a specific color. It's a nice variety of colors and will be enough to make a good number of projects if you are not needing large quantities of a specific color. It's also a good buy if you are planning on mixing colors, or needing a number of different colors for a particular project. It has a matte finish when baked, not "shiny" but you can gloss them later if needed.
