It can also be used to make candles or can be put in the paraffin bath. But it's a FRACTION of the cost of "candle" wax or the perfumed wax used in the wax baths. Unless you are using beeswax, I believe all these waxes are the same paraffin wax I bought for $2.50 a pound rather than $10. (I actually used it to cast a sculpture.) It's pure enough to use with food and it's tough and inexpensive enough to use for candlemaking or sculptures.
